Fankle vs Motion
Fankle vs Motion
Motion auto-schedules every task into time blocks on your calendar. Fankle throws the calendar out: it’s a pull-based board that ranks the next 1–3 things and takes the routine step itself — drafting, splitting, chasing — with nothing ever sent without your say-so. If a rigid auto-built day is exactly what you want, Motion is strong at it. If your day breaks by 10am, Fankle is built for you.
| Feature | Fankle | Motion |
|---|---|---|
| Acts on your work | Drafts follow-ups, splits big jobs, chases replies | Schedules tasks onto your calendar; doesn’t do the work itself |
| Survives a blown-up day | No grid to defend — just ask “what’s next?” again | Auto-reschedules, but you’re back in a rearranged calendar |
| Automatic time-blocked calendar | Deliberately none — it’s a board, not a calendar | Its core strength: auto-builds and re-builds your day |
| Meeting scheduling & booking links | Not offered | Built-in scheduler and booking pages |
| Per-lane autonomy dial for the assistant | From “just suggest” to “handle the routine,” per lane | Automation means scheduling, not configurable acting agents |
| Nothing sent on your behalf | Outward moves are drafted and held — you press send | No send-on-your-behalf behaviour either |

Where Motion is the better pick
Motion is the better pick if you genuinely live inside your calendar and want every task and meeting auto-placed into time blocks for you. Its scheduling engine, calendar integrations, and built-in meeting booking are more mature than anything Fankle offers — Fankle has no calendar at all by design.
Choose Motion if an automatically time-blocked calendar is the dream. Choose Fankle if time-blocking is exactly what keeps failing you, and you’d rather pull the next right thing from a board that also does the routine work.
See if the board beats the calendar.
